I adopted the stage name berekekê from a wonderful song by the singer and composer from the northeast of Brazil, Geraldo Azevedo and José Carlos Capinam. A song that pays tribute to the Amazon and with which I felt identified. Recent research has shown that the origin of the word comes from the Bantu languages, spoken by more than 200 million Africans, and that it is an onomatopoeia used for the croak of a type of frog native to the African continent.
The stylistic axes of my music revolve around three centers: my classical training, my interests in what was called world music and electronics as a work tool. All my compositions are born from the fruit of the most advanced DAW and digital synthesis technology.
My music is instrumental.
I am an indie artist, without label
